The Canadian Iranian Foundation is dedicated to organizing various programs aimed at raising funds for student scholarships. Additionally, a portion of its efforts is directed toward financial aid for special causes, such as assisting with recovery from wildfires in British Columbia.

During the discussion, Nassreen Filsoof emphasized the Foundation’s primary mission: “Our main goal is to support newly arrived immigrants as they begin their lives in Vancouver. The Foundation helps them integrate into Canadian society and build better lives here.”

Soheila Ansari, who has years of experience working in North Vancouver schools, is an active member of the Foundation. She is passionate about helping newcomer families with children navigate their new environment.

Nadia and Moe Pourtaghi, a professional and busy sibling duo, expressed their belief in giving back to the community. Despite their hectic schedules, they view their volunteer work with the Foundation as a social responsibility.

Similarly, Rozita and Romina Fatemi, also sisters and active members of the Foundation, shared exciting updates about upcoming programs during the interview.

The Foundation continues to serve as a vital bridge for immigrants and a source of support for important community initiatives, staying true to its mission of fostering connection and growth.
