Cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases in the world, and its treatment is still under intense research and study with researchers developing treatments in order to make our world less affected by this disease that affects individuals of all ages and walks of life.

The Challenge for Life is one of the initiatives held in Winnipeg by CancerCare Manitoba that aims to raise funds to contribute to the development of research and treatment of cancer patients.

This year, people are asked to challenge themselves to reach 20km or 200 minutes-of-fitness during the event to help reduce their own risk of cancer while making a difference for those we know and love who have been touched by cancer. People of all ages and abilities can enjoy taking part in the challenge. Register as an individual, form a community team with friends and family, or form a corporate team with your colleagues!

Over the years, challengers have raised a total of $14.3 million. Challenge for Life proceeds stay right here in Manitoba to support prevention, early detection, state-of-the-art research, world-class treatment, and vital patient programs and services at CancerCare Manitoba.
