As Operations Manager Samantha Maddalozzo explains, the store has grown into much more than just a retail outlet—it is a hub for community engagement, charity, and sustainability. “We offer something that high-priced department stores can't—affordable, quality items with a purpose,” says Samantha. Unlike other thrift stores, Crossroads stands out for its mission-driven approach, with all proceeds going to support the Crossroads Hospice Society.

While it is one of the few charity thrift stores in Coquitlam, Crossroads distinguishes itself through its connection to hospice care. Shoppers can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere and personalized customer service when visiting. “Our volunteers take pride in ensuring that everyone who walks through the door feels valued,” Samantha shares. This commitment to customer care, combined with a focus on affordability, is central to Crossroads’ identity.

In addition to offering a wide range of goods, from clothing to household items, every purchase and donation supports the Crossroads Hospice Society, which provides vital services to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
