Free Palestine Tri-Cities Group had their Opportunity to Speak at a Port Moody Council Meeting Curtailed.

Following a recent Port Moody council meeting held on April 9th, several members of Free Palestine Tri-Cities were unable to speak because a speaker who refused to adhere to presentation guidelines resulted in the meeting ending earlier than scheduled.

As a result Tri-Cities Community TV decided to attend a couple of Free Palestine Tri-Cities rallies, and record what they had to say in order to give them an opportunity to get their message out to the public.

Alain Quinto, of Free Palestine Tri-Cities had already gone on record with the Tri-City News to say ; "We believe this is a gross overreach and overreaction by some members of Port Moody City Council. This is collective punishment against the movement and all Palestinians for the actions of a few online detractors."

While attending their rallies TCCTV was able to find a couple of the organizations leaders who were willing to talk to our LJI reporters. While they were comfortable giving their opinions on this issue, they were not comfortable with being identified or even being seen on camera. Given the charged nature of the last Port Moody council meeting and the Palestinian / Israeli conflict itself, TCCTV has chosen to honour their wishes and record their thoughts in order to give them a fair opportunity to have their voices heard.

While TCCTV does not necessarily endorse what the members of Free Palestine Tri-Cities have to say, we feel that truly meaningful dialogue starts with hearing what each side has to say and we welcome further constructive dialogue.

Be respectful? Have you seen the video of her screaming how 10/7 was a great thing. That Hamas, Hezbollah, PLFP etc are NOT terrorist organizations calling them heros? Well our state department, FBI and a dozen Arab governments disagree!! Look it up!! Besides, if she really cared about Palestinians she would DEMAND that EGYPT open the gate and establish a safe zone the way Poland has for Ukrainians.
So many ignorant yet passionate fools. No knowledge of history.
No arab countries will take them in. Ask yourself why? It’s because Hamas are direct descendants of the Muslim Brotherhood, the very same Aholes who murdered Anwar Sadat for making peace. Hamas are dead enders who will never accept a two state solution and wish to reverse 1948. There was a no coexistence with a group whose founding charter calls for your destruction. Wake up. These are the modern day Nazis and despite your idiotic support would kill you in an instant if they could.
