Local Organization Hosts Career Development Session For Newcomers with Degrees In Winnipeg. Pt.2

The dream of arriving in Canada when it comes true for immigrants, they begin to have other dreams that they seek to achieve, and among these dreams is the equivalency of certificate and experiences from their countries, to work with it in the same field in Canada. 

The city of Winnipeg, through its organizations, helps the immigrants to achieve their dreams. 

Manitoba Start is one of these organizations that provides various services to immigrants. In this episode, we will present you with a session titled “Qualification Recognition Session for Career Development in Winnipeg”. 

This episode of "Civic Platform" features Jerie Lynn Singson, Career Coach/ Facilitator, Manitoba Start, Winnipeg.  

Singson talked about the importance of this session for immigrants, through it they can identify the most important steps that they must take in order to be able to equalize their certificates and experiences. 

Singson also explained the difficulties experienced by an immigrant who holds a high degree to understand the Canadian system, which is completely different from what he was accustomed to previously. 

Singson provided a lot of tips and advice throughout the session, which immigrants must understand well to be able to succeed and reach his dreams and ambitions.
