Welcome to RPTV Weekly News Show (Episode 34) for July 27th to August 3rd, 2022. Moonlight Market In Regent Park begins Thursday July 28th, 2022.

The Regent Park Employment and Economic Development Table in partnership with The Centre for Social Innovation and The City of Toronto Mainstreet Innovation Fund brings you The Moonlight Market in Regent Park starting July 28th until September 17th, 2022 every Thursday and Saturday from 5pm to 10pm at the East Patio, 585 Dundas St East.

The City of Toronto  is providing a $50,000 activation fund for this event to support local, early stage Female Identified entrepreneurs and encourage the community and residents to come out and join the streetscape as it goes through the summer months.

The event has a combination of three anchor women-owned businesses in Regent Park and a rotating group of other female entrepreneurs from the Employment and Economic Development Table.
RPTV visited the inaugural day of the Moonlight Market in Regent Park and hear what the community have to say.

We seek to empower marginalized individuals and under represented communities to have a voice, through the  use of professional training, mentorships and participatory based media practices that enable the sharing of stories, experiences and perspectives on relevant matters and issues. In brief our mandate is to empower marginalized individuals and under-serviced communities to have a voice and tell their own stories.
