Women play a crucial role in shaping the fabric of our communities, driving change, and creating opportunities for others. "Nothing comes easy in life, but if you truly believe in your purpose, you can achieve it," Nassreen says, reflecting on her decades of service. As the founder of the Canadian Iranian Foundation, a charity organization, she has been instrumental in raising funds for scholarships, supporting hospitals, and fostering community development. Through her efforts, countless students have been able to pursue higher education, and hospitals—particularly children's hospitals—have received much-needed aid. But the journey hasn’t been without challenges. "When you work for the community, you face obstacles, but you don’t give up. You find ways to keep going," she emphasizes. Whether it's securing funding, mobilizing volunteers, or advocating for those in need, Nassreen has never wavered in her mission.

Nassreen has also made significant efforts in organizing seminars against violence and racism, while raising awareness on other important civic matters, highlighting the importance of community engagement.

Her unwavering dedication has earned her multiple awards, with the most recent being the King Charles III Coronation Medal, a prestigious recognition of her service. The ceremony, captured by Skyrise Media, was a testament to her lifetime of hard work and commitment.

Beyond financial contributions and formal recognition, Nassreen’s most profound impact lies in the people she has empowered—particularly newcomers to Canada. She has dedicated herself to educating and guiding newcomers, ensuring they have the knowledge, resources, and confidence to build successful lives in their new home.

"We all start somewhere. It’s not easy to adjust to a new country, a new culture, and a new way of life. But if you have determination, if you work hard, you will find your place and thrive," she shares.

In honor of her extraordinary dedication, Skyrise Media is recognizing Nassreen on International Women’s Day, celebrating her as a leader, mentor, and advocate for change.

Sherry concludes the interview by reflecting on Nassreen’s impact: "Nassreen’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance. She reminds us that leadership isn’t about titles; it’s about action. She has not only shaped our community but has also paved the way for future generations to follow in her footsteps. Her journey is proof that with passion and dedication, anything is possible."

This version gives more weight to Nassreen’s challenges and her belief in perseverance. Let me know if you’d like further refinements!
