St. Stephen Marks Remembrance Day 2020 with Socially-Distant Ceremony

Due to COVID-19, the St. Stephen Remembrance Day 2020 ceremony could not take place the same way this year. Many wreaths were pre-laid at the Cenotaph in downtown St. Stephen, with a select few laid during a socially-distant ceremony. The Royal Canadian Legion, St. Croix Branch No. 9 Ceremony and the Town of St. Stephen teamed up with Charlotte County Television to bring the special ceremony to local residents on television and online. While COVID-19 has made more many challenges marking occasions this year, the Legion and Town of St. Stephen were thrilled to find a way to mark the important occasion with the entire community while also keeping local residents safe.
