Trevor Stewart nominated as the Ontario Liberal party candidate
On September 29, Trevor Stewart was nominated as candidate for the provincial liberal party representative for Glengarry-Prescott-Russell. Many persons of interest like Don Boudrias and Francis Drouin gathered with a room full of partisans to celebrate the new candidature.

“For me it’s personal, I see it, people are frustrated (...) prices are rising high, people can’t get a family doctor, (...) I mean, with the amount that we pay in taxes (...) it isn’t normal that we’re facing these things”. Stewart wants to be seen as a representative of the people, and explains that he can understand them as he is dealing with the same problems as everybody else.
Even though the elections are still far away, candidate Trevor Stewart wanted to start showing his engagement in supporting the community's interests, dissociating his form to Doug Ford's. “We’ve committed to cutting the small business tax rate, slashing it right in half”. “When I look around the region and I see our farmers, struggling to gain access to capital, and they’re forcing to sell their farms to investment companies, this isn’t normal.”
