St. Andrews Marks Remembrance Day 2020 with Ceremony Following COVID-19 Guidelines

Video Upload Date: November 11, 2020

The Royal Canadian Legion, Passamaquoddy Branch #8 marked Remembrance Day 2020 in a new way due to COVID-19. A select few members of the Legion, along with Archdeacon John Matheson, Comrade Jane Lauzier, MP John Williamson and Kelly Williamson laid wreaths from the community in honour of Remembrance Day 2020 at the All Saints Anglican Church in Saint Andrews. The socially-distant ceremony was in  keeping with COVID-19 regulations and was pre-taped on Saturday, November 8, and was broadcast on Charlotte County Television at 11am on November 11. The Legion and Town of St. Andrews were pleased to work with CHCO-TV to find an innovative way to mark the important occasion with the entire community while abiding by COVID-19 guidelines.
