Hommage à le matapédien Laval Morin
Le matapédien Laval Morin a reçu un hommage chez Alliance 9000, le 5 novembre dernier, en lien avec un document qu’il a créé pour la Société d’histoire et de généalogie de La Matapédia. Monsieur Morin a beaucoup contribué au développement de la région notamment comme directeur général de la Commission scolaire Vallée-de-la-Matapédia qui se nomme maintenant Centre de services scolaire des Monts-et-Marées. Laval Morin lègue son savoir sur l’éducation en écrivant un mémoire pour la Société d’histoire et de généalogie de La Matapédia.
Le directeur général d’Alliance 9000, le maire d’Amqui et le responsable de la Société d’histoire et de généalogie de La Matapédia lui rendent hommage en lui adressant chacun un discours. L’ancien directeur de la Commission scolaire Vallée-de-la-Matapédia prend également la parole en remerciant les gens qui se sont déplacés pour lui rendre hommage.
Monsieur Morin lègue son document au Centre de services scolaire des Monts-et-Marées. Si certaines personnes souhaitent consulter son mémoire, ce sera que sur demande.
