Hear Her Politics is an initiative for women about women.

As we all know, there is a gap when it comes to Women in Politics. Awareness for women to run for local office, provincially and even federally needs to improve. 

Did you know that female representation at the municipal level in Canada falls below many South American, African and European countries? At the federal level, only 64 women hold seats in the 308-seat House of Commons,-- that's 21%.  Worldwide, Canada lags behind other countries in the number of women involved in the legislature.

Have you ever thought about running for city council? In this program, we talk about all things from how to raise money to how to fill in your paper work. Whether you want to be in the public eye or work on a campaign this program can help you get started.
