Build a Biz Kids.com, Providing Essential Soft Skills for Kids

In 2018 Leah Coss first co-founded Build a Biz Kids.com, an organization dedicated to empowering young people through entrepreneurial education .The mission of Build a Biz Kids.com is to provide children with hands-on learning experiences that equip them with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in the ever-changing world. The program focuses on fostering creativity, problem-solving, and leadership abilities in youth, helping them build real-world businesses and develop confidence from a young age.

Leah is passionate about reshaping education to better prepare students for the future. She believes in developing core life skills, such as resilience and adaptability, which traditional education systems often overlook. Through her work, Leah has become a strong advocate for teaching children not just academic knowledge, but practical, innovative thinking that will allow them to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in life. Programs include; financial literacy, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, public speaking, online course creation, website creation, etc.

Currently Build a Biz Kids is focusing on mental health. We are still recovering from a pandemic in which kids where greatly effected. By targeting programs at younger kids aged 6 - 14 Leah feels they are better preparing kids for the future and thus providing preventative mental health care. She feels that many of the programs they offer not only teach basic skills but also provide their their participants with coping mechanisms and adaptive skills that better prepare them for challenges that lay ahead.

Another unique component of the Build a Biz Kid program is that they encourage participants to train each other. So they are constantly sharing information and working in an environment where they are not only learning but also helping to educate others
