The celebration in North Vancouver brought together a diverse group of admirers, friends, and collaborators to honor Ebrahimi’s enduring influence. The program included speeches from notable figures such as Dr. Peyman Vahabzadeh, a poet, writer, and professor from Victoria, who highlighted Ebrahimi’s pioneering cultural efforts. Jamsheed Barzegar, a journalist and poet, traveled from Toronto to join the tribute, sharing heartfelt reflections on Ebrahimi’s resilience and dedication. Additionally, Bowinn Ma, a member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, spoke about the importance of cultural preservation and the role of figures like Ebrahimi in shaping and maintaining the Iranian diaspora’s identity.

Adding to the evening’s vibrancy, Mehdi Saki, a singer and musician recently settled in North Vancouver, performed and was warmly welcomed by the audience.
