Today, the Skyrise Media Society team has gathered for a special discussion to reflect on our journey, growth, and impact across the Greater Vancouver area. Founded on the belief that local voices matter, Skyrise's mission has always been to provide a platform where diverse communities—particularly Farsi-speaking residents—can stay informed, connected, and engaged. Through our work, we’ve reached countless individuals, igniting important discussions on civic issues. Growth and Future Plans

Gaurav Kohli, Board Director "Skyrise has grown significantly over the past two years. We now have a dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and two journalists working tirelessly to produce civic content for our community. Currently, we cover the Greater Vancouver area, engaging Iranians, Turks, Afghans, Tajiks, and Kurds. As we look ahead, our goal is to expand even further, hiring more journalists to cover additional areas in B.C."
