The Indigenous Peoples of Canada have a long and rich history and culture. Whether it's The First Peoples, Inuit, or Metis, they all have stories to tell and lessons we can all learn from.

However, colonization, imperialism, and racism have devastated the Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island. The echoes of the past are still felt and decisions made today are hurting Indigenous Communities.

In this episode of U Talk Feature, we'll look back on two stories focused on Indigenous awareness. The 94 in 94 campaign learning about Truth and Reconciliation, and RAVEN, which is helping Indigenous communities gain access to legal services in cases in the Canadian Court system.

To raise awareness of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action, a collaboration between Reconciliation Thunder and Circles for Reconciliation launched the 94in94 Campaign.

Zuher Almusre sat down with Jimmy Thunder, Raymond Currie, and Grace Shedler to learn more about this social media campaign and what reconciliation looks like?

RAVEN is a registered charity with a mission to raise funds for Indigenous People's access to justice. Another critical aspect of RAVEN is increasing awareness of the challenges many Indigenous People and Nations are facing.

RAVEN's Executive Director and Co-founder Susan Smitten and Zuher connected a discussed the Campaigns RAVEN is helping raise funds for, new initiatives and projects coming, awareness of social and environmental issues, and RAVEN's stance on the National Day For Truth and Reconciliation.
