How to Build A Strong Connection Between Body and Mind

With our health care system on life support, here in Winnipeg and across the country, teaching people how to keep themselves healthy in the first place makes good sense.

Mary Ann Blair has always been passionate about healing and teaching people how to deal with their health challenges. With a nursing background, she deeply desired to change the world by serving people; to help her clients beyond the traditional realm of what most health professionals know.

She has changed the lives of dozens of Winnipegers by teaching them how to approach their health naturally and connecting them to the resources they need to feel amazing in their body.

In this program's interview, Mary Ann explains that our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes can positively or negatively affect our biological functioning. In other words, our minds affect how healthy our bodies are. A huge part of how she works with her clients is working on their mindset and their approach to their challenges.

Mary Ann shared her advice for people, who can’t find time for sport. The first question you have to ask yourself is what level of fitness or health do you want to get in the next 90 days, she says. Because oftentimes when you look at the big picture, many say that they want to lose weight. It’s a very big statement and it can seem daunting. People feel that it's a big gap between where they are now to where they want to go. She gives good advice on how to approach such challenges.
